The sound you can hear has a lot to do with my motorcycling story - The traveller's life (A vida do viajante).
My Dream and guests:

Marcela aside a Kawasaki Police 1000, a road patrol bike belonging to the Brazilian Federal Road Police, on 08/09/01, photo taken during a transit educational campaign called MotoPop; at this event there was a crowd of approximately 15.000 motorcyclists at Goiania's Civic Square.

Four more motorcycles belonging to the Brazilian Federal Road Police present at the mentioned event, at the closing day of the MotoPop 2001. This motorcycle model became very famous due to the seventies TV series - CHIPs (California Highway Patrol). This is a very sought after bike by collectors worldwide.

My friend Nicanor Fernandes Dias and his Honda Turuna 125 cc with 200.000 km plus clocked on the odometer (the engine was redone once, and the cilinder is on the 2nd grade). This bike belongs to Nicanor since 1984. Nicanor worked as mechanic for many years at the former Yamaha dealer MIL (Mecânica Importadora Limitada - Imported Mechanic Limited), owned by the late Erwino Boettcher (Paulistinha) and Andrea Martelli (Sr. Andre). Nicanor owns a motorcycle workshop at Mutirao Avenue, in Goiania - GO, since 1982.
New trips for two: during July/2001 I took Theresa with me in order to evaluate my Dream. We went to Caldas Novas - GO (totaling approximately 350 km). Some weeks later I repeated the dose, everything went fine with us and the "little beauty".
Theresa is very experienced as a pillion passenger, and she had travelled with me in many trips as mentioned in other pages of my site.

Here we are on a beautiful afternoon of
September/2001 at Canaveral fuel station, in Bela Vista de Goias - GO, returning
from Caldas Novas - GO. On 06/10/2001 we did another trip to Caldas Novas,
when returning to Goiania the "little beauty" clocked 46.000 km at the
odometer.
On 19/11/01 we closed another chapter of our motorcycling history (that is full of stories as I pointed in my pages), to begin another one immediately. I sold my Dream - after four years of intense satisfaction - in order to open space for the Honda Twister 250cc, that was bought on the same day at MotoFor.
I would like to register here my opinion about this little two wheel vehicle, that one day was brilliantly unveiled by Mr. Soichiro Honda: the Honda C 100 Dream is Honda's "little beauty" or could be the "little warrior" as well. This is a motorcycle that much gave me in pleasure to ride and reliability, without "charging" me anything for that. I hope it can keep giving the same to its new proprietor (a young lady).
The next chapter: The Twister...
